Revisiting Pasolini’s "Calderón": Guillermo Heras’ Perspective

Abstract

The following paper studies Guillermo Heras's theatrical direction in the play Calderón, premiered on April 14, 1988, in Madrid The main goal of this research is to demonstrate the relevance of the staging in the interpretation of a text, in this case the Pasolini staging, and the importance of the references that Guillermo Heras adopts. Through this study an analysis of the play will be developed, which will take into account the director's aesthetic and dramaturgical decisions.
