Transport and Trade During Antiquity in some Singular Scenes from the Roman Cemeterial Area

Abstract
In the following paper, it will be made a general iconographic view about transports in the Antiquity, examining some scenes from the sepulchral environment, and in particular, from the Christian catacombs. We will analyze ships and boats for sea transport, chariots for ground transport and, finally, animal transport, distinguishing between symbolism and representation of reality.
