‘Regula et vita’. The Monastic Law and the Franciscan Rule

Abstract

The article shows how the franciscan rule is a breaking off the previous monastic rules. To favour the coincidence between the rule and the life is really the specific characters of the franciscan reflection. The franciscan rule has as subject the observance of the Gospel and so this rule is as a legal purview.
