Keywords:

Abstract
After the conquest of Hispania, Rome did not apply a policy aiming to remove all previous religious forms. The spread of Roman religion was in line with the granting of Roman or Latin citizenship. Some pre-Roman gods were allowed. Since the rule of the Emperor Caracalla, Constitutio Antoniniana of 212 a.C., the pre-Roman gods that survived were granted as Roman gods.
