Abstract

This contribution analyzes the role of the garment, as an model, which optimizes the possibilities of inter-action, when shows Christian signs or scenes from the life of Christ. The ancient conflict between the sign and the image is repeated on the garments of the plutocrats, because both are useful for put “under cover” who dresses them. This inquiry applies archeological, sociological and historical effectiveness and reports themselves to the work of plutocrats, that concludes questions about the self-representation problems of the class of wealthy. In this way, scrutinizes communication’s strategies of distinction and affirmation by the class of wealthy.
