Abstract

The conceptual frame of this work is fundamentally based on two lines of research: [he communicative experiential syllabus (in Multidimensional Curriculum of Canada) and thc autonomy of learning ( Holee, Council of Europe) Addressed to a heterogeneous group of students, [he objectives of foreign language learning based on multimedia technology are, aboye alí, pragmatic. They favour the students autonomy and capacity to use cognitive strategies.They motivate their interest in ihe foreign language, whose learning, based on socio-cultural aspects, help thetn to improve their oral comprehension as well as their oral production when they are ready for them. They also constitute a very important help for Ihe teacher, who can flnd in this computer program a solid tool for bis studcnts to consolidate what they have learned in thc classroom.
