Abstract

From our teaching perspective it is possible to read Cervantes and to study his life and works at different teaching levels. It is not necessary, however, to resort to the extensive scholarly documentation to know about certain periods of his life In his own work there are a lot of clues and evidence that reveal personal facets of his life, from his critical knowledge of his period’s literature to some relevant events of his life, including the reflections on life and literature that merge in his creation. The teaching proposal that we present collects several references to organise a learning task that can help the readerlearner in his process of building knowledge. We include reading and reflecting activities, searching activities, and also some tasks that develop creative learners’skills.
