Abstract
It is difficult to define the novel from the point of view of its origin and name. Cervantes used to refer to it as ‘wild writing’. The present article, besides trying to dive deep with love into this magical world, presents its main characterizing elements (action, point of view, characters, space, time). It also analyses the characteristic components of the novel and offers us a process for a better understanding and enjoyment of its language.Downloads
