El enfoque cognitivo en la enseñanza de idiomas.
Abstract
This paper is inseribed within the context of cognitive linguistie studies, and attempts a first approximation to its possible applications in the field of language teaching. My aims will be the following: firstly, 1 will point out the basic theoretical tennets of the cognitive perspective within the field of linguisties. Secondly. 1 will examine some possible correspondences that may be established, in general terms, between cognitive principIes and pedagogical principIes. Next, 1 present a specific example ol lexical analysis which 1 hope may point out the pedagogical value of the model.
