Los conectores en noticias de sucesos. Retórica contrastiva en textos de periodistas españoles y alumnos taiwaneses
Abstract
Discourse markers are analizad in 300 accident and crime reports by Spanish journalists and 30 compositions by Taiwanese students of Spanish as a foreign language. There are substantial differences of frequency between the two for some markers, while other markers are used either by the journalists or by the students. A third group of markers have similar frequencies but are used differently. Other markers are used depending on the presence of complementary markers or other markers requiring them. A fifth group of markers are related to certain types of accidents or crimes (such as murder).
