Women in the Press of 1898 (El Socialista, La Revista Blanca, El Álbum Ibero-americano, Diario de Barcelona, Heraldo de Madrid, El Imparcial)
Abstract
Although in nineteenth-century, women still had a secondary identity as mothers and wives, the consciousness of struggling for freedom had emerged. As an important media during this period, it´s interesting to investigate the ideas of the press about women, especially their demands and ideas non-traditionals. This research consists in finding out the contents related to women that were published in the Spanish press during this century, in order to have an idea about the situation of women in the journalistic world.Downloads
