Abstract
«Acceder» is the employment programme of Fundación Secretariado Gitano; a model of intervention for the labour inclusion of Roma people in a situation of vulnerability and low employability, with tailored-made responses highly adapted to each person and to the labour market. After 20 years of validity, an evaluation shows the wide coverage of the Programme and its impact on the Romany community; how it has contributed to improving the lives of Roma people; to revaluing the role of training; to catalysing changes for the advancement of Roma women; it has also been a good antidote against discrimination and anti-Gypsyism, contributing to breaking down prejudices, promoting knowledge of the Roma community and raising awareness of their citizenship rights
