Tito Livio romanceado: la leyenda de Rómulo en el Coro febeo de romances historiales (1588) de Juan de la Cueva
Abstract
This article analyzes the use of the romulus story according to the Livius report of Ab urbe condita I 3- 16 in three ballads of the poet Juan de la cueva’s Coro febeo de romances historiales (Sevilla 1588), concluding, after the contrast with another ancient sources which transmit the story, that the Livius latin text is the principal source for the spanish poet.Downloads
