Abstract

This essay, the second part of «the proem of Lucan’s Bellum Ciuile and its reception (I)», has two main aims. the first one, to complete the exam of the use of the proem of the Lucan’s Bellum Ciuile, especially of its seven first lines, in the other two Flavian epicist’s works: Valerius Flaccus’ Thebaid and Silius Italicus’ Punica. the second aim is to expose the general conclusions in accord to the premises established in the preceding paper
