Petronius in Quevedo’s Anacreón castellano: some considerations and conjectures
Abstract
This article examines the quotations from Petronius’ Satyricon in Francisco de Quevedo’s Anacreón castellano in order to expose the particular modus citandi of Don Francisco, to examine the Petronian text quoted and to try to determine the possible edition of the Satyricon used by Quevedo.
