The Flores philosophorum in the manuscript 2629 of the Historic Library of the Salamanca’ University
Abstract
The manuscript 2629 of the Historic Library of the Salamanca University contains a thematic florilegium composed by two sections with a title of their own: the first one, entitled Flores Philosophorum, presents excerpts in prose, and the second, named Flores auctorum, excerpts in verse. In this paper, after offering the codicological description of the complete manuscript, we analyse the contents, structure, typology and sources of the Flores Philosophorum.Downloads
