The use of formations in –tā- (–sā-) in Plautus and Terence
Abstract
By its iterative or frequentative nature, verbal formations with the –tā- (–sā-) suffix are usually considered colloquial. From this point of view, a study of the same formations in Plautus and Terence could be particularly revealing. Specifically, the purpose of this project is to check whether the use that each one does of these formations could be included between the linguistic recognized differences, which are in both authors.Downloads
