Abstract
During the eighteenth century Canary major characters include a classical and humanistic conscience, including Bernardo Cólogan Fallon, a key figure in the cultural landscape of Tenerife, whose work in social, political and intellectual contributed greatly to the spread of Enlightenment ideas in the Islands. Our goal is to contribute to a better understanding of his literary facet under Canarian illustration and to rescue from oblivion one of his works written in Latin, by a new critical edition and translation.Downloads
