«Higher towers have fallen…»: subject and reason in the modernity
Abstract
From the watchtowers of the process of globalization it has been a question of putting end to the history, but the response has been the destruction of the proper attempt: the history has returned the ball to them. The modernity has constructed itself on two pillars –towers– that have fallen down for having the feet of mud, as the giant of Daniel's book. Subject and Reason, from a perspective, have been the ideological sustenances of the whole process that has led to the construction of a great empire in west, but the days of this empire are ending, because his offers could not answer to the human need of everlasting happiness.Downloads
