Presence and corporeity in the anthropology of Julián Marías
Abstract
The objective of this work is to analyze the concept of corporeality from the anthropological philosophy of Julián Marías, in addition to observe how this concept is related to the theory of circumstance of José Ortega y Gasset. This article presents the novelty of a philosophy of presence from the anthropology of Marías and how this concept of presence can be redirected to the empirical structure of human life. To carry out this thesis, the paper is divided into two parts: the first gives an account of corporeality in Marias anthropological thought, and the second, which is the novelty of this work, is to observe how from the concept of personal presence one can to know the totality of the human person.
