Abstract

In this article we present the project: Travesías of solitudes, grief and hopes. An art therapy and art project to address migratory grief, in the population of young unaccompanied migrants, in our case, protected by the Community of Madrid. The project has been carried out through the training and research grant for the application of art and care methodologies in the prevention of unwanted loneliness and complicated grief, granted by the Autonomous Organization of Madrid Salud, and which has been developed between the months of March and December 2021. It is an intervention and research project aimed at preventing complicated grief among young unaccompanied migrants. Several axes have been established in the development of the project: training professionals, raising awareness among the general population and therapeutic care through art and art therapy methodologies. For the development of the project, collaboration and dialogue have been carried out with two cultural and exhibition spaces: Casa Árabe and the Reina Sofía National Art Center Museum.
