Abstract

If we study the history of museums from its beginnings until recent times we can observe an evolution in the concern for visitors and their education. The aim of this article is to create associational links and applicability criteria in favour of an art gallery education; that is, we shall consider the possibility of an opening of art galleries to a less specialised audience for the sake of a wider education in contemporary art, always taking into account the viewpoint of the art gallery owners.
