Abstract

The work tries a reflection on the reasons that took to the Count Duke to start up the construction of the Palace of the Buen Retiro, after the success of the celebration of San Juan organized in honor to the Kings in the house of the Monterrey in the Prado, insisting on the importance that had the surrounding in the definition of the Real Site, as well as the meaning of some parts of the palatal enclosure like the viewpoints of the Prado or the hermitage of San Juan pieces nails of the plan devised by Olive groves.
