Catholic Reformation an regulations of female monasterys in the Toledo’s Archbishop, 17 th century. Concepción Benedictina’s convent in the Imperial City
Abstract
From the Catholic Reformation’s regulations in the ecclesiastical life, we try here the case of Toledo’s archbishop from the official publication, that we call Retiro, whose author was Manuel de Vega y Cuadros, personage united to conformation, building and the artistic patronage of Concepción Benedictina’ convent in the 17th century. Architecture and city with the references of this monastery and the cited religious literature, are now objects for new aproximations and new looks, based upon studies we had published.Downloads
