Visible but different: the woman in the agrarian documentary work of José Neches
Abstract
The approach to the documentary work of José Neches, produced for the most part by the Ministry of Agriculture, turns out to be decisive in the understanding of rural documentary in Spain because it allows us to penetrate in the study of the peasant communities during the Franco regime. This research aims to identify in Neches’ cinema the marks of a past with which to compose the collective memory looking, particularly, to the role carried by the woman in the core of these peasant societies.Downloads
