Abstract
Dealing with the problematic and volatile theological scene of the Italian XVI century, this article goes in-depth into the specific development of religious theories and practices that, starting from Juan de Valdés and reflecting in the character of Vittoria Colonna, will be realized in the plastic art of Michelangelo, specifically in a painting ascribed to him found in the Church of Santa María de la Redonda (Logroño).Downloads
