Text, authorship and censorship of Próspera and Adversa fortuna de Don Álvaro de Luna
Abstract
This article raises a problematic turn that resolves around Próspera and Adversa fortuna de don Álvaro de Luna, which includes all both the attribution errors of the pieces and conflicts which seems to do with censorship, and which leads to a bibliographic entanglement in which no less than four authors are involved: Tirso de Molina, Mira de Amescua, Lope de Vega and Salucio del Poyo. Likewise, it offers a brief state of question about the current situation of the Mira theater after being analyzed by the digital Stylometry tool, which makes him the playwright most affected by attribution problems.
