Memory, (in)justice and transgenerationality in the plays of Helena Tornero
Abstract
This article presents an introductory overview of the work of Helena Tornero (1973-), focusing on two key aspects: her thematic treatment of memory and intergenerational trauma, and the influence of applied and social theatre on her commitment to the creation of spaces of transgenerational dialogue and transmission. It includes an analysis of the work that best represent her interests and style, El futur (The Future, 2019).
