Algunas observaciones sobre los sistemas y herramientas para la gestión del conocimiento

Abstract

A journey is made through theoretical conceptual referents on knowledge, its Management and very especially the knowledge management systems, its characteristics, main functions, commercial tools and types in order to provide the reader with a wide and systemic vision about the thematic approached. Knowledge Management, with its conceptual and objective definitions, is presented from different authors´ viewpoint, which enables to set parallel and chronologies. A detailed exhibition of Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) , their classification and main characteristics is carried out by offering an up-to-date cognitive panoramic. The present paper also proposes a summary of some commercial implements and computer-based solutions according to the type of KMS referred to. Lastly, some considerations are included, through which it can be valued the importance of the analyzed topic and the author's positions.
