2. All contributions must comply with the following format:
-Page setup: 17x24 paper, top, right and left margins of 2 cm and bottom margin of 1.75 cm.

-Times New Roman 11 font and exact line spacing of 12, first line: 0.5 cm (except for the first paragraph, which will not be indented). Originals that exceed these dimensions may be rejected.

-Short quotations should be enclosed in quotation marks (‘...’) (with serif quotation marks, not straight ones) and within the body of the text. If they exceed four lines, they should be separated from the body of the text with space before and after, text size 10, exact line spacing: 12, ‘left’ indentation: 1.5 cm.

-Footnotes should be in size 8, single-spaced, with a 0.5 cm indent.

-Section titles should be unindented, in bold and lowercase: first-level section titles with 24-point spacing before and 12-point spacing after; second-level section titles: 12-point spacing before and after.

Bibliographic references should be indented 0.5 cm, font size 10, and line spacing 12 points.

Authors should also bear in mind the following:

a. Links to web pages should appear in blue.

b. All links to web pages included in the text must be functional.

c. When a DOI link for a reference appears, it must be included.

d. Add the ORCID number as a link, along with the institution's details and email address.

3. Papers must be submitted in electronic format, exclusively in Word. Articles must be original and sent via the OJS platform, which can be accessed at https://revistas.ucm.es/index.php/RFAL. Once registered as an author, follow the steps indicated there. Questions regarding the submission of papers can be sent to the email address rdfa@ucm.es

4. Bibliographical references for each article should appear at the end of the article, in alphabetical order. The APA system (7th edition) will be used.

Works or articles cited that have a doi number must include it in their bibliographical reference.

E.g. Author's surname, Author's first name. ‘Title of article’ Journal No. (year): pages.doi: xxxx; http://dx.doi.org/xxxx

References to the bibliography should be made in the text itself, in parentheses, citing the author's surname, followed by the year of publication and, where applicable, a colon and the number of the page or pages referred to (e.g. Müller 2003: 1-10).

5. Articles must be accompanied by: (a) two abstracts, one in Spanish and one in English (maximum 10 lines); if the article is written in a language other than these two, a third abstract in that language must also be included; (b) the title of the article translated into English; (c) a series of keywords or descriptors in the two (or three) languages of the abstracts (maximum of six); and (d) the index of the numbered headings of the work, which will appear at the beginning of the article. The languages in which the RdFA publishes are: Spanish, German and English.

6. Authors shall provide their address so that any correspondence arising from the collaboration can be sent to them. The name of the university or institution, the department and the email address shall appear in the article in order to facilitate the exchange of opinions on it.

7. When an article contains illustrations, these must be of sufficient quality to be reproduced; they may be sent in digital format, maintaining the same level of quality, in the most common formats (BMP, TIFF, JPG). Authors should indicate where in the text they wish them to be inserted; these instructions will be respected as far as the layout allows.

8. Any article that does not meet the requirements for format, presentation, or content will be returned to the author.

9. The Editorial Board will acknowledge receipt of the works and decide—after hearing the opinion of international advisors—on the suitability of the original works received for publication, based on the relevance and degree of contribution of their content, as well as their formal structure. Authors will be notified of the decisions made.

10. Authors will be entitled to one copy.

Authors are solely responsible for the content of the articles. Likewise, the RdFA will retain the rights protected by law over their works.
