Spanish and German Routine Formulae Contrastively Analysed
Abstract
Although routine formulas are relevant linguistic phenomena in the teaching of foreign languages and bilingual lexicography, contrastive studies in the language pair German-Spanish do almost not exist, except for the extensive work of I. Sosa. This contribution intends to analyze contrastively one type of routine formulas that has not been taken into account in Sosa’s study: the formulas of agreement. For this purpose, according to the nature of these units, I establish a tertium comparationis where pragmalinguistic criteria predominate, although supplemented by other factors relating to morphosyntactic and lexical features of the formulas. In such a way, interlingual equivalences and differences between both groups of formulas and isolated units are identified.Downloads
