Focus and Scope
Pygmalion is an annual publication of the Instituto del Teatro de Madrid of the Faculty of Philology, specializing in the study of performing arts, comparative theatre, and the history and theory of theater. It combines research articles, editing of unpublished theatrical texts, interviews with theatre professionals and book reviews. The main objective is to foster contact between the university and those involved in the performing arts.
Since Vol. 16 (2024) Pygmalion. Revista de teatro general y comparado has been published by Ediciones Complutense.
