In defense of the sensible
Abstract
How does the arrival of the digital empire affect the performing arts? Does it modify its essence? Does it modify the audience? In what ways are technologies used in contemporary theater in our country? These questions run through this article, which addresses a personal perspective that is born from what is understood as the essence of the performing arts and its connection with the sensitive and how this connection is affected by the prevailing techno-feudalism. A political non-use of technology at the service of the scene and the importance of the connection between the bodies (observed and observing) so that the scenic event can fulfill its function.
