‘Investigaciones Feministas’ renewed as a C1 number in Gender Studies, according to Dialnet Metrics 2023

Dialnet Metrics recognises the journal Investigaciones Feministas as a first level journal: C1 for Gender Studies and C2 for Sociology: https://dialnet.unirioja.es/metricas/idr/revistas/20051  

The journal ranks third among the 25 Spanish Gender Studies journals; and twentieth among the 75 Spanish Sociology journals: https://dialnet.unirioja.es/metricas/idr/revistas/20051 

These data have been published in June 2024, based on the latest calculation of Dialnet metrics for 2023.

‘Investigaciones Feministas’ renews the FECYT Quality Seal 2024, with Mention of Good Editorial Practices in Gender Equality

The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities has renewed the accreditation of our journal for another year. The indicators examined were the level of impact, and visibility. This recognition will be valid until 24 July 2025.

The FECYT Quality Seal, with reference FECYT-363/2024, was awarded to the journal on 12 July 2019 and since then, it has been renewed year after year, after evaluation: https://calidadrevistas.fecyt.es/revistas-sello-fecyt/investigaciones-feministas


In addition to the Seal, the journal has received the Mention of Good Editorial Practices in Gender Equality. This mention implies having a minimum percentage of 40% of women in the composition of the Editorial Teams; having a minimum percentage of 40% of women as reviewers of the papers submitted to the journal; including in the editorial policy specific recommendations in favour of the use of inclusive and non-sexist language in scientific articles; including the full name of the authors of the papers, avoiding initials, particles and abbreviations; and/or recommending that the authors of published papers report whether the conclusions have taken into account possible differences between sexes.
