Policies of equality, non-discrimination and peripheral feminisms. A kaleidoscopic look
Abstract
This article aims at dealing with the impact of immigration from the perspective of gender on equality policies in the Spanish State, within the international and European framework. Migrant women, along with the contributions of women located at the margins, have incorporated other perspectives that have displaced the centrality that occupies the subject woman as a universal category and have questioned the hegemonic feminism proposing other views, challenges and approaches to women equality policies. Its purpose is not to delve into a complex issue, but to carry out reflection and contribute to women’s studies. The Used Methodology has traced the development of equality and migratory policies from the perspective of gender intersecting with the contributions of the Academy, the activism of women and the response and evolution of those policies.Downloads
