Should we all be feminists?: Afroecuadorian women versus black feminisms
Abstract
Nowadays it is necessary to make a profound analysis about what it means that many women commit their lives to one political purpose. Today we can see that many women do not want to occupy that argumentative and political place called feminism, they are producing other kinds of tools to give better solutions to their everyday problems. There are many of them that use other resources and closer strategies to obtain better working solutions about their lives and their relationships. In this article, my interest is to show some afroecuatorian women that use other ways to face, step by step, each aspect of their lives with power and enthusiasm. They are protagonists of their owns lives and at the same time, they are pillars of their communities.Downloads
