El espejo suspicaz: realidad y representación en La seducción del caos
Abstract
Using the audiovisual fake and some meta- fictional mechanisms, La seducción del caos (Martín Patino,1991) deconstructs –from inside– the codes and presuppositions of television. The film hides behind a ludic veil its endeavor in order to awake the viewers’critical sense. To do so, it blurs the levels of the narrative and brings forward a work-in-progress. It digs out the mechanisms of the filmic creation and falsifies the television uses in order to suggest an essayistic meditation on simulacrum and the loss of confidence in the discourses that intend to represent reality.Downloads
