Políticas de comunicación en la España multimedia

  • María Antonia Martín

Abstract

This article revolves around the communication policies that are currently in place in Spain, taking as a point of departure the concept of «state-led policy». Furthermore, it aims to identify the trends of the new public policy framework, setting them against the Europeanwide debate on public communication policies which is currently under way. More specifically, the paper deals with the role of the Radio Televisión Española Group (Spanish state- owned broadcasting corporation) as a public service provider as well as with other players in the Spanish communication and broadcasting industries.
