Neuroscience and media education: lacks in the Spanish case
Abstract
In this paper we analyze the shortcomings in the field of Media Education. To this end, we selected indicators in the field of neuroscience and analyzed their presence or absence in a sample of 445 significant documents. The methodology is based on content analysis by semantic fields. In conclusion, there are gaps relative to the limited treatment that is made from the emotions, the little interest that is given to entertainment and narrative, the low importance given to the unconscious, and critical thinking.Downloads
