Methodologies for Teaching Innovation: The Gender Perspective in Audiovisual Communication
Abstract
The adscription of the Spanish universities to the European Higher Education Area implies changes in the teaching-learning process that, among other things, demand the incorporation of the principle of equality between the sexes in the new BA programs. Nevertheless, its short history and the scarce knowledge about contents, methods, and specific materials make this principle very difficult to apply for a teaching staff that very often lacks training and experience in the area. This paper offers some methodological clues for the incorporation of the contributions of the Women’s, Feminist, and Gender Studies areas into the Audiovisual Communication classroom.Downloads
