Trends in blogs consumption among Spanish university youth: an in depth analysis of their "blogosphere"
Abstract
Since 2008, several authors have indicated that the blogosphere has begun a decline period overcome by the most powerful social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Tuenti). This paper is based on the research conducted by the Observatorio del Ocio y Entretenimiento Digital (OCENDI). We analyze the trends in blogs consumption among Spanish university students (aged 18-25 years). The analysis confirms that blogs do not head their digital leisure. We carry out an in-depth analysis which shows the main topics that youth follows, their favorite screens, as well as the time they spend viewing these sites.Downloads
