War propaganda for the New World. The case of the magazine América–Latina (1915-1918)
Abstract
During the First World War the belligerent powers made use of a great variety of propaganda resources addressed to the home front and also to other nations, involved or not in the conflict. This paper deals with an illustrated magazine published by the British and French propaganda services intended for the Latin American audience. The exclusive topic of the magazine América-Latina was the war coverage, presented from the Allied point of view.
