Abstract

As a creator and as a result of a socio-spatial dynamic imagination, Latin America and the Caribbean is a region that goes through a series of simultaneous demands to create spaces in multiple scales, and different experiences of territorialisation inside, outside and beyond the Nation-state structure. In this sense, it is demanded a new identification and analysis about main characteristics of spatial practices that (re)produce dominant representations or design new spaces of representation. Indeed, this paper develops a theoretical approach around constitutive dynamic of different and conflictive regional geopolitical discourses, even thought they converge to the same physical space. This situation could allow the definition of a research agenda about critical geopolitics in LAC region, from an interdisciplinary point of view.
