El uso de la literatura en la educación filosófica a partir de la investigación de ideas políticas: un modelo didáctico a partir de Alain Badiou y Walter Lipman

Abstract

In a workshop entitled Filosofía y Literatura, the French philosopher Alain Badiou theorized about the didactical role of literature in philosophical education from its Platonic origins. This role finds an example of practical application in the Philosophy for Children (P4C) programme developed by Matthew Lipman. However, little has been said about the application of this role to political education. In the last decades, the so-called second generation of FpN theorists have oriented the premises on which their philosophical education programme is based toward social questions. In the following text, we will study this programme from Alain Badiou’s theory with the intention of identifying a series of characteristics that may favour the application of literature in philosophical education through the research on political ideas.
