Diplomatic Collection of the Monastery of Santa Clara of Alcocer in the Middle Ages

Part I (1205-1325)

Abstract

With this installment begins the systematic publication of the diplomatic collection formed by the medieval documents of the Santa Clara de Alcocer monastery gathered by the author during his research on said monastery. The collection includes more than a hundred documentary pieces, mostly unpublished, from the 13th century to the beginning of the 16th century. The transcripts of those documents that we have previously published in other works are omitted from this diplomatic collection, indicating the pages of their appendices where they appeared. Instead, the versions published by other authors are indicated where appropriate, proposing in this edition our own reading of the same documents.
