Abstract
This article analyzes the operation of the recurring elements that define the code of love in Lope's plays The Night of San Juan and the way in which that issue is put to use in the preparation of an action and a perfect piece. First, we describe briefly the defining elements of love and its presence in the play, and afterwards we study the elements in connection with the construction of the action, the treatment of other topics and resources of the poetic genre of the New Comedy.Downloads
