Abstract
The parts of speech for G. Correas are three, noun, verb and particle. This idea was defended befor by B. de Busto, C. de Villalón and, especially, F. Sánchez de las Brozas. The particle includes the invariable units (preposition, adverb, conjunction and interjection), which denote some circumstance in the sentence. In the treatment of the topic, the Extremaduran grammarian, on the one hand, arranges adequately the utilization of the doctrinal sources (the Greco-Roman tradition, A. de Nebrija, el Brocense) with his own points of view and, for other one, he does very proper observations on the use of the language and his varieties.Downloads
