La construcción del tipo «Si...es Conjunción Subordinante»
Abstract
This essay deals with a special kind of copulative construction whose basic structure consists of a clause introduced by if, the copulative verb be-inflected in the third person singular-and a second clause headed by a subordinating conjunction. The realized analysis is mainly a formal-syntactic one of this construction both isolated and compared to other types of constructions with which it shares some of its syntactic and interpretative features. The interpretation of the If...(it) is subordinating conjunction... implies the realization of an inferential process by both the sender and the (target) receiver; hence, it is necessary to complete the formal-syntactic study with a discoursive-pragmatic analysis about which we only give the most relevant aspects.Downloads
