La novela filosófica a propósito de El hombre sin atributos de Robert Musil
Abstract
Literature and philosophy maintain a close relation since their origins. Both agree in their aims when they direct their discourses to the question concerning the being and the sense of life. Whereas literature makes use of f iction, as Aristotle mentioned in his Poetics, philosophy embodies the question, in most cases, from an ideal objectivism. However, both are means of expression with which the man inquires his existence. An important point of contact between literature and philosophy is the philosophical novel, a narrative genre that due to its language and theme fluctuates between the f ictional genre and the genre of the essay. In this essay there is a reflection on the philosophical novel from the reading of the work The Man Without Qualities by Robert Musil.Downloads
