Tiempo e identidad en Tierra de campos de David Trueba
Abstract
This paper aims to analyse how time is treated and how it relates to identity formation and to memory in David Trueba’s novel Tierra de campos (2017). Secondarily, it aims to three objectives: briefly disclose relevant information about Trueba’s work, which has been not so largely studied by critics; gather basic theoretical concepts about the importance of time in narrative and lastly dig deeper into philosophical topics addressed by the novel. For this, a classical qualitative philological methodology has been used with a strong analytical approach
